Apart from TMKOC, he has also worked in shows like Sukh By Chance and Jasuben Jayantilaal Joshi Ki Joint Family. He even appeared in movies like Luck, Caution (2007) and Ghoonghat (1997). For his impressive acting skills and stellar performances, he won Sab Ke Anokha Award 2012 for ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ show.

Born on 6 June 1976, Shyam Pathak hails from Gujarat, India. He belongs to a middle-class family. He did his schooling from The National School of Drama. He even studied chartered accountancy from Institute of Chartered Accountant of India but dropped out to join National School of Drama. He is married to Reshami and the two are blessed with a daughter and two sons. He first met Reshami at The National School of Drama. Now, they both are happily married since 2003.
